Who is AIFEC?

African Infrastructural And Food Enhancement Commission (AIFEC) supports grassroots organizations of women running drop-in centres for orphans and children made vulnerable by AIDS in Togo.

We are implementing the AIFEC 6-year Model that develops and strengthens informal groups into mature community-based organizations, capable of giving comprehensive care to the vulnerable children within their communities.

Since 2003 AIFEC has contributed to about 700 women caring for over 15,000 children with nutrition and broad-based care, with access to education, health services and social welfare. Read more

Seasons Greetings to everyone from AIFEC!  Each year we launch a seasonal campaign to help improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable children, and their carers.  In past years your kind  generosity has helped add books to the library and create entire orchards of fruit trees to benefit and enrich young lives in our drop-in centres in the Eastern Cape.

From 4-7th November AIFEC held their annual Alliance Conference in Stutterheim, East London, where we were honoured to have Lynne Franks facilitate the workshop using the theme of “Planting the Seeds of Change”.
